Welcome to the Paperbark Woman website

Paperbark Woman is a small NT Aboriginal owned and operated business.

In my Paperbark Woman shop, at Shop 4 Arafura Plaza on 24 Cavenagh Street, in Darwin, we have fabrics which have been designed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders (also known as Indigenous peoples).
The material is often sought out by patch workers and quilters and other people who like to sew and create clothes.  We also have hand printed textiles.
We make clothes, gifts, and artworks.  In addition, we create & manufacture goods for conferences and events

PAPERBARK WOMAN – RETAIL SHOP and MANUFACTURING

I have moved about 20 steps away to Unit 4 Arafura Plaza – near the back exit to Litchfield Street – but in the same building.

 UPDATE from Lenore – 17 August 2025

I am still healing at present and so the Paperbark Woman SHOP/RETAIL side  is currently closed.

I am sorry, it has also taken me longer than expected to re-arrange my shop.

I am able to manufacture goods like conference and other bags, scrunchies, purses, magnets, calming cushions etc.

I am taking orders to produce the items that can be used for events of all sizes etc.

Please note that I am not always at the unit, so please email me or leave me a message on my phone – and I will call you back.

I intend to re-opened as a small retail outlet prior to the December holiday season.

You can email me at  paperbark.admin3@bigpond.com

 regards Lenore
